went with a run around arlington with kristin....the hills felt pretty good until the last one which was a bit tough...still all part of getting in shape...the intensity was between 3 and 4..ideally would be 3, but until i get in better shape, it will be closer to 4.
first run back after my hip and lower back were hurting all week. my lower back felt better, but i am really going to have to make sure that i keep stretching.
Ran with Kristin today around arlington hts and belmont. i ran a bit faster than i have been. it was fun to run on hills. most of the run was comfortable but if i would have picked it up at all, it would have started to feel difficult.
ran for 35 minutes at the indoor tufts (200 m) track. i ran my third mile at 7:17 pace just to see how picking it up a bit felt. it was okay. it made me think that i might start going to track workouts.
Long run for the week. I was probably running around 8:30 pace. It feels good to be out there running. I need to be more consistent about running if I hope to get in shape.
