New map for OK at Rock Chalk Park. Thanks to Gene for mapping and setting the courses. He did a good job of creating route choices in a bland area. wish I didn't second think my choice to 12, which led me to back track and forget which trail I wanted to be on, lost 2 minutes here. Great turnout, especially for a summer event.

I had planned a long trail run for today. But my heel has been hurting after sitting/sleeping and my calf is tight. I'm on the edge of getting plantar fasciitis again. These symptoms often appear if I start to ramp up my running too quickly.
So I decided to do a long bike ride instead. Toyed with the idea of doing the whole loop, but I'm not in bike shape for that. Then thought about an out-n-back, but that seemed boring. Mike suggested that I ride with him up and over campus, then come back on part of the Lawrence Loop. Great idea!
Hard to climb Daisy Hill right off the bat. My quads were tired. But it was super fun to ride down Mississippi Street. Mike and I parted ways at 8th and Massachusetts.
I rode through the new path sections at Hobbs and after Haskell. So nice! Uneventful ride home, just having fun looking around and going at a reasonable pace. Made it up Kasold without any trouble (I was expecting to be tired).
