Freeway Bike Hike, from Kwinana. Happy that i made under 90 minutes. Was with the wrong pack at first, too fast. Dropped back to another group after about 10 minutes.

The group was a bit shaky until at least the narrows bridge, but then after that the nerves started to ease and there weren't as many false alarms or erratic swerving. Was riding on the outside and working hard until about leederville station. After that, went on the inside for the rest of the way and found it much easier.

No big group crashes, only 1 minor going up a rise towards warwick road. I felt alot more in control of my bike and pack awareness than last year! Maybe even fitter too?

Was feeling tired this morning so slept in. After work i went for a run around Gwelup lake. I thought shins were going to flare up, they were a little tender at first, but after 10 minutes it felt effortless. A high spirited run, still maintaining it in my target duration.
OMG - this brings running to the top of the weekly table!

A varied workout at Subiaco skate park, then off to work in west perth. I was getting quite high in the banks, feeling very comfortable with speed now.

Not much time to do this as i had to drive to carine park, then swept the floors of dirt, and had to leave time to get ready for work afterwards. New bearings worked well, went fast.

On the soft sand from Trigg island south to Brighton and back. Was humid today, so good for a beach run.

Easy ride into Perth for the bikeweek breakfast, before going to work. Was still tired from not enough sleep on the weekend.

Ride home after work. Dropped my bike in at bikeforce to get the wheels trued, then walked the 10 minutes home.
