Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Before and after the hill session.

Running hills (Jacobs Ladder) 33:37 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Did a session in preparation for the central park stair climb this weekend. Started off with an easy loop, from the war memorial, down toward the old brewery then along mounts bar road to the bottom of jacobs. Ran up the ladder twice at about 70%, then another loop via the brewery for recovery at 30%, before another 2 stair climbs up jacobs. Training partner pushed me harder for the last surge.

Climb times:
2:02
2:07
Recovery
2:05
1:51

Looks like i won't get to do the central park stair climb anymore because bookings are full.

Midday session through kings park. Went at a good pace, pushed through the muscular pain in my feet.

Running (Trails) 47:18 [3] 8.5 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Along the Dunsborough coast to Castle rock. Did a surge up whale lookout (a 200m odd rise up the rocks) before heading back. Although i went at a slow pace, i was puffed out easily. I've signed up for a stair climb in central park tower this weekend and thought i should get a taste of what i'm in for!
