Treadmill workout at OCD fitness center. Pretty much flat (1% incline). Started at 5 mph, gradually ramped up speed to 7.7 mph, then back down a bit for last 8 minutes.

Orienteering race 56:50 [2] *** 5.2 km (10:56 / km) +328ft 9:58 / km
spiked:10/12c shoes: Adidas Yukon Trail

Mendon Green course. Distance is my estimated distance covered. Straight-line distance was listed as 4.2 km. There was snow on most parts of the course which made the footing very bad and made travel a lot slower than it normally should have been. I was hardly tired at the end of the course, due I'm sure to not being able to really push the pace on most of the course. I messed up on #4 and #7, losing maybe 3-4 minutes on each. Otherwise, no major mistakes, just much slower than I would have liked to have been.

I finished 3rd out of around 10-15 people on Green, at least that's the place I was in when I left. I was around 3-4 minutes out of first.

Mapping 2:00:00 [1] **** +410ft

Spent two hours working on the map of Dryer Road Park/Fort Hill / Ganonagon. My head was spinning due to the high density of trails in the Dryer Rd Park portion.

Running 45:00 [2] 5.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
max:150 shoes: Asics Gel Kahana - screw shoes

Ran on canal, from Lyndon Rd. With Homer and Hazel. Brand new shoes, which felt pretty good although I could tell it was my first run with them (need a bit of break in).

Running hills (Trails) 50:22 [3] * 4.1 mi (12:17 / mi) +459ft 11:06 / mi
max:160 weight:181.5lbs shoes: Adidas Yukon Trail

Ellison Wetlands. With Anne, although we split off and she walked and I ran, because she's battling a back/nerve problem. Ran almost all the way to Old Browncroft.

First time wearing Adidas Yukon Trail, which I bought fairly cheaply at DSW, and intend to use primarily for orienteering and trail running. They felt reasonably good and seemed to have decent traction.
