Squeezed in a ride this morning before heading off for orienteering. The usual lap around Shoalwater and Rockingham. All was good apart from the near death experience when I approached the Dixon Rd roundabout to turn right and was greeted with a car travelling head on towards me and buzzed me as he continued down Patterson Rd for 100m before cutting over the median strip to return to the correct side of the road. Have never seen that in my 23 yrs of cycling. Nerves were a little rattled the rest of the ride.

Great course by Craig and Rachel today. Enjoyed it mentally but didn't have anything physical to make it enjoyable. The hills sucked as the legs had nothing to offer but happy to get out there and have some fun.
