Into work, nothing to report except that currently i'm on a level par with Jade Goody when it comes to intelligence. No no.... wait a minute, Jade probably couldn't spell intelligence

I am in a proper fricking boo. Today a computer decided that I am not aware enough to drive on the roads. I'm not as aware as a half senile 50 year old. I'm not as aware as a taxi driver. I'm not as aware as a white van driver. I'm not even as aware as Craney. Next the computer will tell me that my lack of awareness means I can't read a map.

I passed the question side of the test 50/50. I know the highway code etc. But the computer deemed that I clicked too early on 8/14 videos. Surely thats better than clicking too late? A fire engine with flashing blue lights joining my road -surely thats a hazard as soon as it enters the screen -apparently not. A pedestrian swerving towards the road -surely thats a hazard -no apparently not. Fricking government money grabbers. The worst thing is the next available test is on saturday at 8am -ok I said. Oh no I can't take it then because apparently I can't have revised enough in 2 days. So whens the next appointment? Oh -20th December -fricking great.

Fricking shit and my guts still hurt.

Running 20:00 [2] 3.6 km (5:33 / km)

Run into work -Northumberland road still closed so still extra space for 3% of my run.

I thought I had managed to bodge the contours last night but I hadn't. I woke up tried again, and in my bleary eyedness it all worked. I don't hold out much hope for when I get home and think about it again!

Oh ye for large areas of thick plantation where nobody knows where the contours go...

Into work. For a change I have no arguments or abuse to report today, nobody was a dick and they had shut Northumberland road to resurface. This meant I ran down the middle of the road rather than trying to dodge students and cars.

I was up late last night trying to figure out where i've managed to loose a contour at Tankersley. It felt like I stared at the computer for hours, but to no avail. Here's a lesson for you -if you ever decide to do some mapping:

Start at one side of the area and work to the other -not at each side and going towards the middle. Dumbass.

Here endeth the lesson.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 11.5 km (5:13 / km) +120m 4:58 / km

Run to goodwin from work and then the usual 'pleasant' run out to crosspool with OJ and Little Rob.

Think I've solved my contour problem...
