Two sprint races, calf getting progressively better, pushing hard but no top gear.

Westside: feel for every trick the course planners threw at us.

Frimley: was really happy with run - however I am not running fast enough at the moment

Sprint the Bays: my calf tweak just wasn't interested in the morning, especially on the ups and downs, decided to sit out the race and hope that paid dividends long term. Enjoyed watching the dudes go hard and taking photos.

After some resting, icing, massage and long warm-up I decided that the flatness of Napier city would be ok for a jog. It turned in to more than that as I knew it would, but could only go about 90%. Quite frustrating holding back on real easy sprint orienteering terrain. Awesome event, scenic, fun and really good vibe.

Very bad physical day. Went for a jog just to test out dodgy left calf, nek minnit wasp stings me on my blackberry scarred ankles several times, nek minnit previously fine right calf starts seizing up, nek minnit it starts hosing down with rain. So there I am fat foot, munted leg, freezing and cold, walking home for 30minutes.

I think I better take the camera to Sprint the Bays.

Jogged up Kaukau to do some stretching, then jogged back down...still feel like my calf is improving
