orienteering race 1:30:00 [4]

JWOC Trials at Pukepuke, long red then short red. Some annoying mistakes, caused by lack of ruthlessness....I think my reasoning was sort of like, "aha I might as well try this and have a nosy to see what its like through there". I won't get away with that at Waioneke.

run 1:20:00 [3]

jog with pk, p, bryn and angela. showing off the wgtn tracks - chose a route that went up through Burrows, down Deliverance up Makara through lazy fern, 4wd track then Varleys track/skyline to home. Nice loop.

run 1:20:00 [3]

Out at the Hutt, so stopped off at Percy Reserve to explore some territory I had only run bits of in a rogaine before. Awesome run.

Ran up past the waterfall, then winded about through bush before hitting the usual entrance and running all the way down Korokoro gorge then back up and over a couple of spurs through a few more little reserves. Left calf still not quite right.

run 1:20:00 [3]

Was meant to be biking with some fellas, turned into a run with a couple of guys I half know who live nearby. Skyline down through Otari to flax clearing and back up on top blue track to skyline and down Montgomery. The running from our new house is mint.

run 1:50:00 [3]

Finally explored Makara peak from home ... ran up to skyline (about 7 minutes to hit the track) then through to saddle - Varleys - T3 - North face - JFK etc - Sally Alley - Missing link - Aratihi - Zacs then back through Varleys saddle etc.

Took me a bit longer than expected, there is a shit load of track down North face now. This is a good shitty day run, not as enjoyable as running the skyline or the other walking tracks around.
