i think i fucked my shin :( havent run since last week but i think it was plow that broke the oxens back. been pretty sore since last week. doin stretches and ice massage but still seems relentless am a bit worried about stress fracture but will give it till after this field trip to see how it goes, could just be inflammed at the moment.

so am away for a week an a half on a field trip will monitor it closely. apart from that g2g.

out to gebbies via OTT, up on to summit along the tops down dyers. clouded out along the top so pretty slow going even on the downs as could only see the next corner most the time. still pretty fun and man that is a big climb from bottom of gebbies to coopers knobs. forgot my gloves and my hands got sooo cold.

out an over SoK, round bays to evans, up evans and back to SoK along summit and home. pretty comfortable most of the way wind was a bit of a nuisance

at the y. testing the shoulder out. felt it a few times when doing stretchy long moves but not pain just awareness. will have to see how it feels in the morning before i go getting excited about it.

hr monitor fucked out. cruise with boys to warm up for fifteen minutes then 8x100m sprints with 100m joggin recovery then a cruisey ten to fifteen minute warm down can't remember. jogged so caught breath back before started next rep. maybe should just cruise and do them more an more oxygen deprived lol. body handled well apart from tight hammys which i guess was from high knees. hiii knees.

right shoulder still bung. perhpas rotator cuff tendonitis? really want to climb ohmygosh u have no idea but i will stay of it till next friday and do some stretching and light resistance work for it hopefully. i had it at start of year but it went away for two or three months. but its come back now but not any worse than back then. i must be favouring my right when i climb somehow or its just weaker from sometime. i did hurt it playing rugby so maybe its a sore from a strain rather than from overuse.

quiet run with the boys found an adventure playground and mucked around for a bit. felt good! back on the bike this week maybe tomorrow to get the lungs bursting
