Ruck with Scholle; we're both training for Sapper tryouts so we decided to do some workouts together. Ruck was 41 lbs. We maintained about a 15 min/mile pace from Grant turnaround to Michie to the Tennis center and to Delafield Pond road. At the section near the pond, we ran into three other people rucking for the same purpose, and we all found the way down quite slippery with snow covering solid ice. I fell down many a time and it was fun. Back on hard ground, we started jogging and kept this up to Lee Gate. After a pause, we jogged again, but at the cemetary Scholle decided it would be wise to be slow on the way in and we rucked back to the barracks.
