Note
(injured)

Everything is fucked, shins been real sore, heal/achille been painful in the mornings, ankle/arch of feet hurting, knees even been sore going up and down stairs at work, and I have managed to damage my shoulder somehow as well (god knows what the hell I've done to do that), all in all pretty pissed and struggling to look forward to events, which flights have all just been paid for.

Orienteering race (Summer Series) 36:00 [4] ** 6.85 km (5:15 / km) +100m 4:54 / km
ahr:172 max:188 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Triax+11

Summer Series at Western Springs, bit annoyed at useless controls in middle of shit forest or next to dump sites, why?? Going at about 80%, legs not feeling too flash during and didn't like all the hard surfaces but not too bad after, lost time on the 'track end' control

Mt Biking 1:18:00 [3] +405m
ahr:141 max:194 shoes: Specilized BG MtBike Shoes

Ride at Bike Park with Claire, she had her first real over the handle bars crash, on the flattest, smoothest piece of track in the whole park, dont know how. Was pretty crusiey, push it hard up the 2 hills, feeling ok

Running 21:00 [3] 3.6 km (5:50 / km) +47m 5:29 / km
ahr:151 max:169 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Triax+11

Easy jog after work to test and move legs, went to do laps round fields but was pack with some girls soccer tournament, so went round streets which sucks and it was so bloody hot and humid, when came close by home couldnt keep going.

Orienteering race (Middle) 40:10 [5] 4.9 km (8:12 / km) +300m 6:17 / km
ahr:189 max:203 shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 340

Waitangi WRE middle, as soon as I started running I knew I was not going to be fast enough, then managed to orienteer like a muppet. Real sloppy on compass, and committing to orienteer all the time, also missed the non existent knoll at 9 and big error at 12, hit a spur early and its bigger on the ground than the map (and looking at how many people made mistakes on both 9 and 12 it makes you wonder). All in all was a good blow out and really put me in my place, not a bad effort on HR as well.

Orienteering (Putting our controls) 2:27:00 [2] *** +590m
ahr:136 max:176 shoes: Inov8 RocLite 305

Putting out controls at Aramiro for CD Champs. Felt real good on the first loop into 'the slope', 'the c*&t control' and 'rough reach around'. Then felt average on second loop putting boxs on Neils controls, got a bit low on energy in the middle but felt better by end, bloody hot

Orienteering race (Night Relay) 59:00 [4] *** +205m
ahr:167 max:199 shoes: Inov8 RocLite 305

Katoa Po relay, doing leg 7, started at 1:30am. Was going pretty good through first half, wasn't really trying to smash it but good along at a good pace, then while going through a fence my compass got flicked off by the wire between my hand and map and all I could hear was ,woosh woosh woosh duff. Spent about 10 mins looking, no luck then tried to continue, no luck, gave up after the only other option was asking the Gawnster for help.
