Note
(injured)

Haven't really done much in the last week, been to the gym a couple of times and won tickets to elemeno p on Friday, but since the weather has been utter shit haven't been too motivated to think about much else except get a lot of project work done, but today sums up the year of the Greg.

Broke my little toe on my right foot, really good job of it too according to the doc, cracked through in 2 places at different angles at the base of the toe, after running down the stairs with towels to stop to flood Claire was making in the garage, my socks slipped round my foot and I went smashing into the door frame, fucken hurt to say the least, but not as much as having it straightened back into place, since I didn't want a wheelchair the doc took that as me not needing any pain relief injections around it.

Doc said at least 6 weeks before I should even think about running on it, fucken brilliant.

ahr:163 max:191 shoes: Specilized Allez 06

Bloody sunshine fooled me, looked like an awesome day, was bloody windy that was like ice. Same loop as last Fri with a couple of little bits added on front and end around block, still hurting on the hills and flats.

Rd Cycling 46:00 [3] 20.5 km (26.7 kph) +220m
ahr:167 max:196 shoes: Specilized Allez 06

Cruise on longer loop round Albany, went Old Albany Highway all way to top of Unsworth Heights, then down through there, through Rosedale and up to and back along East Coast Bays Rd, only almost got hit by 1 asian lady, pulled out in front of me when I was trying to get enough speed to see if the speed camera would go off on ECBrd. Really felt the climbs, esp up to ECBrd I was blowing big time

Note

Saw sports doc today for 3 week follow up, legs are feeling bit better, not as tender but still massive hard band/lump on right shin, he explained really well what he thought it was and why and why it wasn't other things, and I'm on an accelerated walk-jog plan to see how things go

Might start training tomorrow, now that it should be the first real day of winter, no time like it to hard up
