Easy spin round Albany just to get out of the desk chair. Its easy for time to disappear when you've been told not to train too much and you have a shit load of uni work to do, which makes it real easy to just forget about and have no motivation to do any training, and then its almost 2 weeks having done nothing, bloody hell.

Legs have been a bit tender as well from all the smashing they are getting at physio.

Note

mowed the lawn, but since Bryn deems lawn mowing below attackpoint I'm not logging it

Note

Saw sports doc, thinks he can rule out stress fracture and compartment syndrome (but went and had x-ray as well to see if anything on there), doing a course of hardcore shin splint treatment for 3 weeks to see how they react, in that time not allowed to do anything to badly aggravate them e.g. long/hard runs, bit of a bugger but I haven't really been doing that anyway and its the last 2 weeks of uni and I have work coming out my ears for the next 3 weeks so its not too bad timing. If not improving by 3 weeks will get bone scan.

Ride round Albany with loop round mega centre, went out not because I needed/wanted to go training but because it was such an awesome afternoon and my new shoes and pedals arrived yesterday, feel way better than the mt bike combo. Everything still tight and sore from Sunday

Score/OY on Stags Roar, enjoyed the oing, not the running altho I kept a good pace the entire time (not fast) and only lost 30s on 1 control right near end, bloody funny watching everyone behind me stuff up the first one, Tim was just slightly in front and to my left, he missed it I nailed it and turned around to see heaps of people follow with Tom not far off and saw him go within 3m of the control, heard later heaps of people lost shitloads of time because they were all following Tim, I mean come on if you had a choice between following Tim or following Me, really.....

Body not feeling too flash later in day, both legs sore and cold just trying to fight back a little bit but hopefully the war is over.

Rd Cycling 39:00 [3] 16.1 km (24.8 kph) +115m
ahr:157 max:189 shoes: Specilized Allez 06

There are those days when training feels easy and those where you think hell would be nicer, surprisingly I felt bloody good and enjoyed it. Easy loop round Albany, few waits at lights.

Saw physio today, going to another sports doc in 2 weeks to see if they can work out if there is anything wrong with my legs

Feeling like the weather, utter shit

went for a walk to get some blood moving, spat up some nice solid, green chunks.

Note
(sick)

The sickness has kicked in now, slight head-ache all day along with a sore throat and the forever running nose. I hate winter already
