Mt Biking (Mtb) 40:00 [3]

Ankle sore but could cycle on it so took Gardens bike from O event down to beach and back, the massive downhill on gravel rd was awesome untill I realised I had to go back up it bugger-good ride

Orienteering (Classic) 1:13:37 [5] 8.5 km (8:40 / km)

Wounded Knee = cutty grass twice the size of me and I couldn't see at thing going to first control lost 5 mins adn about another 5 in middle otherwise not too bad considering(had a couple of really good long legs taking the splits and running away from Dave up a hill)

Orienteering (Night-O) 13:05 [5]

Was going good lead everybody until # 4 then bunch caught me up and were all together untill I rolled my ankle again FUCK and stopped to walk back, ripped through 5 layers of tape and ask Fraser how the 'crack' sounded

Walked back after rolling ankle quite sore but not as bad as last time

Around Te Aroha track pretty choice but really rocky and hard on wrists with no shocks.

Uni no use knowing the map off by heart as it has all changed in 12 months even St Johns is completely diff made me actually think(bugger) paced self well

jogged around first half of course picking up the controls still can't get over the changes at St Johns

Tui mine track and back part of it washed out in slip last week. It was fucken hot but I felt really strong at end
