(rest day)

Day just disappeared but got lots done, having a weekend at home doesn't mean relaxation - anyone want to buy a van with a decked out bed and cooker?

Wasn't a planned rest day, but then again I haven't had a plan since WOC, just do what ever feels ok and enjoyable (try a few more easy runs to build a bit of resistance in the legs) and have a semi break. Feeling the lack of proper training, seem to have lost a bit of fitness and strength since WOC, and the fact I was ahead of where I rightly should have been might have caught up as well

Should start to show some more focus from now, have some summer training goals and vague plans (need to write this down and sort properly) and the fact I should be racing Jamie in 2 up coming events is slight motivation.

Another run from home, trying this consistency thing. Waited around all day until it was almost too late, well I didn't really wait in fact I had quite a productive day and didn't even realise it was so late. Legs feeling ok, thought shins were tightening up but I was just trying to make stuff up. Pace was a bit more solid tonight, well in relation to the past few runs

Run from home, went more into the neighbours farm I think. feeling ok, calfs/achilles/shins not really sore at all, altho my ears are still ringing. Didn't get rained on today either, thats another plus

There is one way to make sure you do some training, only have 1 car for 2 and it leaves at 6am. Biked into work round Sunnyside Rd, started cold, ended cold.

Run from home on the farm, testing new shoes, feel good. Calves stiffened a bit towards the end, and I feel like I'm fighting off a cold or something for about a week now. Ribs seem fine as well, still a bit tender if I lift anything heavy tho.
