Last minute Nationals Training, set a course out near Muriwai, with what I thought Nationals will be like, some compass legs and then a line section, as I think there will be a lot of looking up and running on compass and then maybe some fine nav in some rock detail, If this is the case I'm screwed. I was all over the shop, couldn't hold a straight line at all. Plus it wasn't good Nationals training as it was bloody hot, the map was accurate and the course was well planned, we'll get none of those down South

Went for an early morning run round Lucas Creek before work. Started getting angry during, Tane angry and was getting faster and faster, until my car key fell out of my back pocket, through the gaps in a bridge and into a shitty creek, took a couple of mins to find it, tried to get going again, but key fell out again after a couple of mins, this time just in grass only took about 30 sec to find, but by this stage I was cooled down a bit and close to the end so cruised. Body felt ok in patches but generally pretty shit
