Really hard to plan a good route, made even harder than we arrived when the maps were given out and was trying to plan while getting ready (thanks to Claire wanting to sleep in). Started and still didn't have a plan, just headed towards water fountain to go down Dragons Tail, then decided to go back up to and down Corridor again, then looped through a few points and got stuck in a dead end on an unmarked track near the start and lost 5 mins bashing through the green shit trying to get out. After that I thought I still had heaps of time and thought I might as well try and get a decent score so went up Direct Road to the points at the top, then across to Frontal Lobotomy, here I sort of knew I wouldn't get back on time but oh well, up to Billy T, half way down that (and onto a unmarked track again loosing a min or 2) then up to and down corners, finished off on the last part of Little Miss Riding Huck and hammered back, 9min late.

Felt a little stuffed at the finish

Wasn't biking all the way to the top of the Gonna Gotta hill to bike back down the road, and since this wasn't too serious I took the single track option (losing 6 mins) and every other single track option from then on as well. Was still trying to push hard and felt quite good. Tracks were in good nick, much better than the last visit down here.

This proved that MtBO is the worse of both worlds if you want to win, but I enjoyed my ride.

Lunch time soccer, again a hundred people and the game didn't flow much plus the (artificial) pitch was wet and the ball just skidded off it at a thousand miles an hour. Also the biggest wanker that never passes, always takes shots even from halfway and has never been goalie, tried kicking the ball out of my hands when I was goalie and now have a very sore swollen finger on my right hand, turned around and booted the ball into the back of his head, most people laughed and said he had it coming.
