Loving the low vis, just at the right stage for being bloody tough but still able to run and navigate in. Followed Gene around a butterfly filming and progressively got slower and slower after that as things started letting me know they were getting tired and sore

Nationals Relay. Palmerston North. Course: Relay 6,1 km
Lots of road running, which my Achilles didn't like. Also made a 2 min mistake on 4, just stopped concentrating and then the line of people in front of me had disappeared = shit what have I done, relocated ok but was way back after that. Also seemed to have the longer splits, every time I could catch someone up they would then have diff split and get a couple of hundred meters on me again.


Nationals Relay (2014-04-21)


Map printing was absolute rubbish this weekend. All sorts of issues, including the vege boundaries for the elites in the Long - they are on the map but I challenge anyone to see them.
