Orienteering (Easter Day 3-Cherry Farm) 2:06:00 [3] **** 7.6 km (16:35 / km) +390m 13:12 / km
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

What an amazing bit of terrain. Pity there is massive transmission line right through it. Took the far right option to 1 (on the road and up the yellow gully). Ladder and rope climb out of 1 set the tone..steep!

Lots of up and down and round. Pretty much walked the last half of the course. Should have put a bit more effort in..was close to Brenton on this day.

Orienteering (Easter Day 2 - Clandulla ) 1:25:00 [3] 8.2 km (10:22 / km)
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Bit faster terrain, but just didn't have the legs. Went to 2 before 1, hen got passed by Jock. Kept Jono McComb at bay until 5 where we ran together for a little bit until he disappeared in the distance on the way to 6. Struggled to keep motivated to run in the pretty featureless terrain. Three or 4 controls weren't 'turned on' which was the way I felt about this map. Managed to achieve the unachievable and pip a fellow Big Foot member who shall remain nameless.

Orienteering race (Easter Day 1 - Clandulla ) 1:42:00 [3] *** 8.1 km (12:36 / km)
spiked:24/26c shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Don't really remember much of this race, wasn't really into it, wasn't really out of it. Found a massive dope plant between 6/11 and 12 and surprised some likely types in a caravan on the way to 2. Thought that 8 was in the wrong gully. Found the terrain pretty physical but really enjoyed the conglomerate? rock formations.
