Orienteering 40:18 [3] 4.3 km (9:22 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X talon blue

Started out ok. Classic parallel error getting to 4 before 3. Ok route choice to 6 still moving ok until climb up to 9 then vague descent to 12. Great open area. Enjoyed this.

Orienteering 1:02:04 [3] 4.5 km (13:48 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X talon blue

Bit of a disaster. Attackpoint for first control was the OOB corner then down to the big track near the electricity tower. Ended up crossing the creek and at the tower near the car wreck. After falling twice, twisting my ankle and getting stuck in vines all before the first control thought about abandoning. Caught up to Nea about 6 but she had faster legs. Bit disappointed as the last run here at Galston was pretty good.

Orienteering 1:01:42 [3] 2.5 km (24:41 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X talon blue

Around the ‘easy’ course with Miya. Tobby and Pete were packing up the start when we got there. Thankfully all the controls were still out.Miya gave up the ghost about number 6. The course was physically tough for a 7 year old with sone controls placed in steep embankments and lots of climb. Didn’t realise Miya had a high fever the whole way but she finished the easy course of 2.5km!
