XC skiing 30:08 intensity: (24:31 @1) + (5:10 @2) + (27 @3) 3.22 mi (9:22 / mi) +3m 9:20 / mi
ahr:107 max:162

A skate loop by myself, caught up to George, Missy's dad at one point, then he could actually keep up with me sneaking around all the trees and such. Impressed. Then a little back and forth no poles by the parking lot waiting for Tom.

XC skiing 32:04 [1] 2.25 mi (14:15 / mi) +4m 14:10 / mi
ahr:91 max:95

A classic loop with Tom, working the hills hard when they presented themselves. He's gliding better, even if feet still get cramped up about 15 minutes into it.

XC skiing 1:23:41 intensity: (9:17 @1) + (1:00:47 @2) + (13:37 @3) 10.86 mi (7:42 / mi) +32m 7:38 / mi
ahr:85 max:155

And a slightly longer Wildwood ski, still delightful! Did 8 repeats up the Blue hill in the course of the ski, lots of yellow-red loops, some double pole around the Green, which is just too narrow. Saw two other skiers out there today, one also skating, the other just plodding. So thankful to be able to ski 10 min from my house!!!

ahr:68 max:107

Wahoo! Fun afternoon ski in Wildwood. Skating, which was great, actually. Not always fully wide enough, but was on a few uphills so worked those. Also did repeats up the Blue hill from the boardwalk on the floodplain, pretty good workout!

I'm probably the happiest camper around that there is so much snow in Toledo...

XC skiing 55:06 intensity: (22:30 @1) + (29:57 @2) + (2:39 @3) 6.08 mi (9:04 / mi) +33m 8:55 / mi
ahr:121 max:165

Morningski (classic) in Wildwood. Woke up and it was 9° F, above my limit of 5° F, so out I went all bundled up. It really was lovely skiing and hands were only cold for the first five minutes. Tried to work a few of the minute uphills.

Did 3 x green, then Red-Yellow and Yellow-Red to back in. No one else out skiing, but two brave walking ladies.

Running 13:18 intensity: (2:43 @0) + (1:10 @1) + (8:05 @2) + (1:20 @3) 2.0 mi (6:39 / mi)
ahr:136 max:162

Two miles on the indoor track before Zumba. Saw some of the guys and gals from ballroom, different context.

Aerobics 45:00 [1]

Zumba with Joanna. Yeehaw, great to be back! And gosh, some of the routines really get your arms/upper back!
5 PM

Strength 16:03 intensity: (14:36 @0) + (1:27 @1)
ahr:85 max:109

Core 15 with Zach. Plus 3 x 9 pushups on my own.

Cycling 24:08 [1] 9.5 mi (2:32 / mi)
ahr:72 max:72

On the exercise bike, went longer than I meant because I was reading the article about the guy who outmathed OkCupid to find true love...

Running 11:25 intensity: (2:17 @0) + (39 @1) + (8:29 @2) 1.5 mi (7:37 / mi)
ahr:127 max:150

Warm up around the indoor track. Two track girls with a coach were doing their workout in the opposite direction of everyone else, in lane 1. Not sure that's the best method...

Drills 4:48 intensity: (2 @0) + (57 @1) + (3:49 @2) 0.33 mi (14:33 / mi)
ahr:142 max:156

2 laps of normal running drills

Running 23:33 intensity: (7:44 @1) + (6:26 @2) + (2:21 @3) + (7:02 @4) 3.33 mi (7:04 / mi) +1m 7:04 / mi
ahr:143 max:177

And then the hard work. But sans Kevin, because he got the flu from his kids. So 4 x 800s. I went out way too hard on the first one 2:40, trying to impress the track girls (really?) and then slowed way down... argh.

Running 16:03 [1] 2.0 mi (8:01 / mi)

Made it back to Toledo, in time for just a short workout around the indoor track. Legs were tired from yesterday's racing, eep!

Running 8:54 [1] 1.0 mi (8:54 / mi)

Tom is attempting to teach me how to do squats, for strength. Today I did 5 sets of 15 with just my body weight, trying to get used to the motion. Then we ran another mile afterwards.

Strength 12:01 [0]

12 minutes of core!
