Drizzly run around Springwater - Oaks Bottom loop, after waiting around long enough for it to get light. Because the time changed, but that doesn't mean my internal clock did...

Legs tired from race yesterday! Particularly Achilles/calves.

A bit of a warm up and cool down at Lincoln Park.

Woo, orienteering! Carpooled with Abra and Sue up to WIOL #1 at Lincoln Park, Seattle.

Long sprinty style with no going through green colors allowed. But that's ok because really it wouldn't be faster. Well, probably twice I would have busted a move through but refrained due to the rule.

Clean on big stuff for me, messy on some of the details. Could have saved some time from *all* the time being sure what way to exit a control. Otherwise, I would have liked to read the trail under the line once, would have been a better route.

Happy to get out orienteering!

A new route, first through the industrial zone before the Oaks Bottom single track. Strava'd because I forgot Garmin charging in my office. Mostly chatted with Ueli, the Swiss bookstore manager that actually knows what orienteering is. =)

Reflective vest intervals a la Tom's Flagstaff group from yesterday. So 1-2-3-4-5 minutes with half rest. All on Reed College place so I didn't need a headlight.

Hah! Managed a smidge of a workout on a Tuesday. Administration committee was helpfully canceled due to someone at a conference and another ill, so an extra 1.5h in life!

First lecture on galaxies, aka gravitationally bound collections of stars, dark matter, gas and optionally, supermassive black holes.
