Sprint at Magness Tree Farm!

Made better training by losing part of my map so I didn't have the final two controls on it. I contemplated returning to the start to get a new map, but the controls were mostly on trails and I could see where the line was headed and I had control descriptions, so I just went for it. Did get a peak at the final control on my map at someone else's map, so was just a bit of memory-o...

Vampire-o with Sylvia! Carrying her in the Ergo while she slept through it all. Was really fun. We got 19 controls before we were turned into a vampire with only about 10 minutes to go. Unforutnately we couldn't get anyone else at just walking pace and so finished as vampires. Ah well.

A gorgeous fall day!

Did notice when I took a really big step up that muscles that were needed for that were still sore. So definitely still healing and good to remember that.

Oof, pterodactyl noises from 3:30-6:30 when I fed Sylvia again and then put her in her crib in the nursery (mostly she's in a bassinet in our bedroom) to get a smidge more sleep before 7:30.

Another beautiful fall morning! 40-something according to phone when I left with sun and some gorgeous leaf colors. (Ok, so our natural gorgeous leaf colors might only be yellow, but folks have planted maples of various sorts that do red and orange.)

The short maximal trail route from home. Groin muscles weren't sore this time and just a bit faster...

Last baby hike for the log! Not that it's the last baby hike I'll do, but I think now that I can run, it doesn't count just to walk around the neighborhood carrying an extra 10lbs.

Walked down to mansion land to pick up a new (to us) baby carrying option from craigslist - Beco Soleil. Mostly seems similar to the ergo, but has a pretty dragonfly pattern on it. Came back via Springwater and Errol Heights trails. Both Sylvia and I were hot by the end - nice sunny day!

I was planning on some elliptical intervals to make sure I got a hard workout in, but it was too beautiful to not go running! So a very, very slow trot around the neighborhood, specifically down and around mansion-land.

What seems sorest while running are my groin muscles. I guess those don't get used much in ellipticalling? Later in the day pelvic floor muscles were tired from the run + rest of day, but just on the same level as the end of the day maybe two weeks ago.
