Whoa super-full parking lot at 9:30am. (Means folks left Portland < 8am, as it's a 1.5h drive). I guess a gorgeous day will do that. We snagged a small spot next to a camper van and got a little last ski in of the Christmas ski camp!

Skied with Sylvia for a little bit first, then just a bit by myself- I'm definitely coming down with the cold Sylvia and Tom have had, so just took it easy.

Skate ski again, super-easy as perhaps my throat is feeling sore with the same cold Tom + Sylvia have had. (Not Covid, Tom got a test before we left Portland.)

A snowy Christmas! Both in Hood River where we're staying and up on the mountain. So even by early afternoon, a few inches of new on top of the grooming. Too close to freezing, so even fishscales were icing up. Need to get some maxiglide.

Beautiful afternoon classic ski after some family Zooming in the morning!

XC skiing 45:00 [1]

Skate ski at Teacup in the afternoon - after unloading our very full car into the AirBnB we're at for a Christmas stay/ski training camp #3 of the season!

Just amazing out. Minimal crowds given the late time of day and had sunset shades on Mt. Hood for some amazing views. I'm pretty slow, but getting out skiing is such, such an amazing thing for both mental and physical health right now!!

Note

Internal kiddo seemed to be happy camper on his first non-stress test today! (32 weeks) Amniotic fluid index still low-normal at 9, but shouldn't require any special attention unless below 5, so not too worried. Growth ultrasound last week showed kiddo at 47% for estimated weight, so despite a worryingly-small-to-CNM baby bump, he's at least a good size too!

Prenatal yoga. Felt like I never got the final position figured out. Ah well.
