Forest walk this morning, looking at the result of thinning and timber stand improvement efforts.
Then to the short annual meeting at the rec center and discussion about extending the rail trail right to the door of the center (another 2/3 mile). Got to get the DNR to relax and allow the trail to get within the 200' exclusion zone along the river for about 45' of the total distance. Looks like it finally will be allowed. That will be nice.
