Good workout. A bit of a NE wind but not too bad. Packed boat up.

Row 1:05:00 [3]

D: 3[(6+5)/3]
SR: 20/22
Warm evening -- almost 90. Made me feel lethargic. However, Mr Speedcoach said the boat was moving at a decent speed.

I have a headache.

Gray skies with flat water. Very nice.

Row 1:00:00 [3]

B: 6/3+5/3+4/3+2
SR: 24/28/30/34
HR_max: 160/170/174/176
Held the SR rock solid on the first three. On the last 34 piece I was mostly at 33-33.5 fading to 32 over the last 20s. I believe this is the first time I have done a workout with a piece designated for >32. Given that I had about a dozen dry-heaves afterward, I think I can be confident that I worked it as hard as I could.

Beautiful almost perfect morning.

I have a new impeller for my Speedcoach and so rowed the 500m along the dam a couple of times to check the calibration. It appeared to be about 2m long; which is within the margin of error. My 305 registered the following paces:
2:09/ 2:05/ 1:58.5/ 1:55.5. Seems consistent.

Run 1:00:00 [3]

Today White Rock Boathouse held its first head-race regatta. I worked as Control Commissioner and Dock Master. I was too tired to get up and get my run in beforehand so I waited until late afternoon. Luckily, it was not too warm (80F) and low humidity so running easy felt fine.

My oh my what a nice morning. 48F, wisps of steam coming off glass water, and an orange sunrise. Nice rowing too.
