One of the toughest challenges ever... "The Muffin Challenge". I took on the infamous "Muffin Challenge" at work today of eating 5 giant chocolate muffins with a rich dollop of caramel in each one in 30mins. The previous best attempt was 4 and I painfully did 4.5 after starving myself all day to claim the record and feel absolutely sick for the rest of the day. Made a bit of $ out of it from the spectators lol. The moral of the story is that i felt too sick to train... yeap...
Stretched the glute before playing and it was pretty good during. Could hardly feel it even when I was sprinting heaps. We smoked 'Rose and Shamrock' pub, don't even know the score. I got heaps of run aways but pretty much gave all the tries to our girl (cos they get 2 points not 1). Yeh..
Just took it pretty easy playing tennis with Ben, Nic, Raza, Chris and Bapt at school. Starting to play some good shots now with good power. Stretched my glute heaps before and I definitely felt it during the games but it wasn't very painful
Woke up with a sore left glute (previous injury from ages ago) which hurt a bit to walk on so no run today. Iced and stretched it a bit. I'm guessing it's just from doing the tennis and runs yesterday and probably not quite stretching enough before running. Probably from running home after resting for a while after tennis and letting the legs get cool/tight or something then straight into a moderate paced run... hmm..
Ran to school for a casual game of tennis with Ben. Neither of us had played much before but were both pretty decent anyway. Had a proper game (I think) of 3 sets but only first to 5 in each. He beat me in the first 5-3 but then I got into my game more and won the next two 5-3 and 5-2. It was awesome fun and i'm real keen to play casual tennis some more, hopefully a bit at uni too!

Yeap, had a rest day today. Hopefully be feeling good for at least a few runs over the next few days. Might try to squeeze in a morning and afternoon run some days
