Had offered to collect control but no way was I getting back on bike. Luckily most were drive able and Eoin got the riding ones. Tried to run to one but failed. Legs are toast! How will I manage 24 hours?

Talked myself into doing this race and into finishing rather than pulling out at 9. Not a good idea. Embarrassingly slow and feeble up hills. Actually swore out loud when 12 didn't work. I was so over everything that I'd nearly turned back when I was about 200m from the control.

Hardest riding or anything for a while so suffered badly. A couple of bad route choices and one missed track, also a couple Of Minutes looking I for tricky bush
Controls; but lack of fitness was the costliest. Cool that Lucy won - 22 min ahead!
Coughing up a Lot of gunk now so definitely tried.
