A score O at Hickory Run. Perfect weather, nice terrain even if a bit thick. Lots of us started in the same direction following Clem, who took off pretty fast along the road's edge. Then he went to the right on #64 and Wyatt and I continued till #63 where he split to the right as well as I went over the hill to #62. The plan was simple: Follow the compass. And it worked in 80% of the times, but had to look around in a few spots. Any time I come to HR, I get a good change to test my compass skills unlike anywhere else. Wasn't in particularly pushing it in the woods and was careful in the ferns. Finished not feeling beat up so that was good. But then I learned that I never went to 2 controls, which I just didn't see on the map. Bummer. Wyatt got all the bags with a good time. The day concluded with jumping off cliffs at a waterfall, swimming in the Sandy Lake, and an awesome BBQ.
