In case anyone has been wondering what's happened to my training log here's the low-down: my job at the National Archives currently owns my soul since I've essentially been promoted (without any increase in compensation) to off-site project manager which requires me to travel an extra hour a day and work overtime (which I'm also not getting compensated for.) To anyone who knows the GS scale that means I'm getting paid as a GS-05 but doing the work and holding the responsibility of a GS-13. Awesome! To make this week even more super-fun, I've also got a 20 page research paper due tomorrow night and I will most likely need to pull all-nighter to get it done! Since I've barely had time to sleep this week, getting out to train has been unattainable, to say there very least. Anyone who takes issue with this can talk to my boss, he's follows a great code of ethics so I'm sure you'd get through to him...
On that note, enough complaining (and procrastinating) its back to post-modernist deconstruction and contextual analysis of non-texual archival material I go! Wheeeee!
