Cycling (Turfing) 56:00 intensity: (25 @0) + (8:48 @1) + (31:03 @2) + (15:44 @3) 12.97 km (13.9 kph) +168m
ahr:117 max:142 shoes: Genesis Croix de Fer 30 2016

Darkest Ninja medal attempt. Only had about half an hour's kip on the sofa (had planned to to bed early, but family Midnight Hour medal at the Cathedral scuppered that - and I didn't even get the medal!). Felt good on the bike and the medal was relatively easily won after about 45 minutes. Pleased.

Cycling (Turfing) 1:02:55 intensity: (1:45 @0) + (13:30 @1) + (31:08 @2) + (16:32 @3) 13.2 km (12.6 kph) +181m

After half an hour for tea, toast and a sit down, out again. Still feeling grand, cat a little non-plussed at her disturbed sleep. The Dawn Ninja medal popped at about 4:05am, bonus. Partially blocked by Ben and Josie who decided to stop off en route back from their Darkest Ninja medal and take their required 3 Dawn zones right in the middle of my wheel.

Cycling (Turfing) 55:08 intensity: (43 @0) + (10:25 @1) + (30:17 @2) + (13:43 @3) 12.86 km (14.0 kph) +166m

More tea and toast. Cat looking at me like I'm demented. Slightly different loop to take out a couple of hills, as agreed with pPilot - only 3 zones fewer. Still feeling grand. The dawn started peeking over the horizon towards the end of the run, nice.

Cycling (Turfing) 1:47:40 intensity: (24 @0) + (14:00 @1) + (56:28 @2) + (36:38 @3) + (10 @4) 25.13 km (14.0 kph) +332m

Decided that there was time for one more loop before the daytime crew got up, and that I could make it a full tour of Dunblane. pPilot happy to wait for a bit and go out after stoker, in a few hours' time. Still feeling good. Glad to see Roger up after I'd got about halfway, and start following me around. Ben also popped up but ahead of me, but I just stuck to my plan at this point rather than stop to try to coordinate on the fly again, and left him to sort it out. By the time I got back to my side of town Roger's zones had become free again so I had just the legs to do one mini tour of the 12 there before calling it a night.

Note

Had intended to shadow E at the South Achray orienteering event but strangely I felt a little creaky by this point. I got excused from shadowing duties by going to help poor Marianne who had fractured her ankle in the woods.
