DVOA Nolde Forest - Green

Misread 2 on map as a small formline knoll instead of a depression - so went in expecting to see it, ended up bouncing off trail on the other side before finding it. Extra deer fences in this area no help. Probably need to consider glasses for sports soon. Been doing ok without them but now having some small map issues.

Coming from 3, ended up above 4, thought it looked too far down and possibly was 5. Wasted a moment looking higher before going down to it and seeing that in fact it was 4. Doh.

Maybe not best approach to 12, going to trail/open area junction SW of it and following ditch in. A little thorny. Then ended up left on way to 13, didn't want to go down in thick thorny crap without being sure of where I was. So hesitation at vegetation boundary area. Actual location of control wasn't too bad veg-wise.

15, ended up left again but was looking right and saw the bag.

The rest of it okay, still not feeling energized.

A new pattern around the neighborhood that involved all the streets in the middle as well as the outside loop. The places I have to walk in the evening in the winter are going to get boring fast.
