Two Bays Trail Run. I knew this wasn't going to be a good day (saw the doc during the week and in his words my iron levels are "almost zero"...), but it was even worse than I anticipated. Was OK up Arthur's Seat and running fairly strongly to about 8km, then blew up completely.

Walked bits of some very gentle hills, had a loo stop at 13km, felt a bit better and was at least moving well enough through the middle patch. But then had to have another loo stop just before 22km and hit another wall at 25km, just crawled home really!

Might have to get healthy and come back again next year. Beautiful course, very well organised, really friendly encouraging atmosphere. Nearly stopped at 1km to get a photo of Cape Schanck but thought I shouldn't throw it in completely!

OK, this was certifiably insane after this morning, but since I missed more than a day and a half of our Radelaide ride because of Two Bays, I felt like I should contribute? I dunno. Anyway, it was flat, tail wind, fairly cool and the DOMS hadn't hit yet, so it didn't feel too bad (maybe good for recovery...?)
