Orienteering 19:35 [3] 3.33 km (5:53 / km) +5m 5:50 / km

Easy jog around the prologue sprint. Was surprisingly tricky and made some stupid mistakes.

Orienteering race 41:44 [5] 5.16 km (8:05 / km) +50m 7:43 / km

National League Final. A middle distance in Broulee on some awesome sand dune terrain! Super fun, very tricky. Made maybe 4-5min of errors which I was quite happy with haha, but was really slow. Left foot pretty sore, right ankle stiff and also still not over this cold - Garmin instructed 70hrs of recovery after this.

Jogging 46:05 [3] 9.0 km (5:07 / km) +45m 5:00 / km

Feeling lots better than yesterday, and better than Tuesday. Saw my Wombi fren again! I think it was the same one as he was in a similar spot and about the same size. Ankles good again.

Jogging 51:18 [3] 10.0 km (5:08 / km) +45m 5:01 / km
ahr:149 max:165

Feeling pretty rough with this cold all day so decided to forgo the session and just jog from home. This was quite lovely for the first 7km but started to go downhill after that, chest and ears started to ache. Ankles and feet best they've been. Saw another Wombi! (and saw him again on the way back) and was momentarily surprised when I my light reflected some eyes at about my height before I realised it was just a big roo! First time I've seen a roo in this area actually. First headlamp run from this house, had the trail all to myself.

Note

Took a COVID test this morning as last night I got a cough and I woke up feeling not great and with a sore throat. Fingers crossed it's negative :(
6 PM

Cycling 44:41 [3] 21.0 km (28.2 kph)

Sufferfest - Getting Away With It

Bit shorter and easier than I'd normally do due to the cough / sore throat / fatigue but actually it went a lot better than I thought it would. HR wasn't crazy, legs felt tired though.
7 PM

Strength & Conditioning 26:32 [1]

Sufferfest Strength - Intermediate 2A (easier week before the weekend)
8 PM

Note

Pretty quick testing turn around - don't have COVID! Yay!

Orienteering 1:00:45 [3] 9.5 km (6:24 / km) +97m 6:05 / km
ahr:150 max:167

Spent the morning being on-the-day organiser for the MelBushO at Banksia Park, but didn't have a chance to run, so after I got home I went back out and jogged the course without controls. It was a bit of fun but my ankles were stiff and sore and I felt generally pretty terrible.
