Running with Sam and Presto after lab! Yay! All three of us running together :-). Nice run after a kind of a long week. I think I'll manage to fit in a 45h work week while only being physically present at lab 4 days this week.

Normal abs minus one set of tuck-ups. My abs were twinging again and I didn't want to play that game.

Red at Point Pinole! My parents were still in town, so I decided to take the day off work and go orienteering :-). We preran again. My head was much more in the game today, although I still managed to mess up a control where I couldn't really find a ditch that was completely full of grass. And then totally flubbed 15 where I was too freaked out by all the poison oak to navigate. It's kind of scary when all the major navigational features in an area are HUGE mapped patches of poison oak... Anyway, still super fun!

Red at Morgan Territory! I didn't have any huge blowups today, but I was just sloppy the entire time and the slop added up. It was still super fun to be out running in the beautiful green hills, though. And it was nice to run during the normal start window and get to chat with a bunch of people. Fun, fun!

Red at Morgan Territory! My parents and I were prerunning today and everything wasn't quite set up when we got there, so there was a bit of waiting around for maps and the start punch and stuff. Then we were sent off to go set up the start and start ourselves.

I was pretty sloppy on the first 2 controls, but managed to find them ok anyway. I then proceeded to completely bomb the third control. I spent 13 minutes flailing aimlessly around finding about 5-6 other courses controls. I think I actually ran right past my control, but there was a bunch of poison oak around it and I wasn't sure where I was and I didn't want to go into a big poison oak patch, so I went off and found a few more controls before finally relocating and finding my control. I told myself the course was going to be a lot more fun if I actually just found the controls, which miraculously actually calmed me down. The rest of the course was clean and super fun!
