Weight/Circuit Training 25:00 [3]

Mix of hand weights, plank variations, push ups, pull ups, core crunches, bike trainer for 15 minutes. Good little mix that I should do 4-5 times a week to mix up the steady diet of running I have been taking in.

Running 20:00 [3]

Sprinting. Ran the bases during Drew's baseball team practice. I got recruited to help the team and gave up my 11 mile training run I had planned.... I would not have logged this effort, but I am surprised to say it has left me a little sore come Monday. Figure I should log all efforts that leave me sore. :)

Running (Road) 1:23:18 [3] 10.5 mi (7:56 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Ghost

Nice maintenance run along the waterfront from the office to Palisades and back. Mindless running, with moderate pace - no hard effort, easy breathing and just focus on efficient form.

On the way back a rollerblader lady said "Dude, you are really moving" I said "Thanks" Nice to get recognition like that from the ladies on a recovery/maintenence day. :)

Running (Trail) 1:28:54 [3] 10.0 mi (8:53 / mi)
weight:179lbs shoes: Crosslight - LaSportiva

Cougar 10 with the crew - Krissy, Christian, Jonathan, Kathleen, Brian and Phil. Felt rusty; not having run in the past 5 days. Came around up by the swamp and rallied in strong when Christian asked for a buddy to pick up the tempo on the home stretch.

First time under 180 lbs in a long time - very surprising for early March.

Sea Kayaking 1:30:00 [3] 7.87 mi (11:26 / mi)

Green Lake paddling with Miles. Not my usual destination for kayaking, but it was convenient. Turns out we saw a pretty nice sunset that came with a rainbow. Got yelled at by a Eastern-bloc person that was very concerned about his fishing line - I was thinking, don't eat fish from this lake.

Pace and form were fine. Need to get out more. Once a week minimum.
