Felt pretty good setting off. Didn't make many mistakes but lost quite a bit of time in the last few k due to blisters. Didn't really feel like running through the pain so walked up the hills trying not to let the shoes rub.

Delamere North Summer Evening Event
Blue Course

Decided I'd put some effort into it, usually at SEEs I just cruise round.

Lost about a minute on 15 due to cutting out of the open forest too soon and wandering around by the wrong marsh in green forest. Can't remember the last mistake I made in Delamere! But at least I went to it, unlike Tom who just ran straight along the main track from 14-16.

Lots of good route choice legs. It was just unfortunate that most of the legs had some green forest running, but on a map that is half green it is pretty inevitable.

Shoes rubbed on right heel. Think I'll try and get some different insoles.

Wore arch supports. Ankles and foot hurt, so took one pair of socks off, then shoes rubbed and feet still hurt. Think I may have tied them too tight.
