Ran ok on first leg. Gaffling was a bit over the top seeing the number of teams but a fun race. Nixon and Kris did the business to take the win. Think it's my first british relay gold.

Started steady and lost quite a lot of time early on including the infamous #5 by which point I was in 14th. Kind of thought the race was over by then but managed to keep the motivation. Saw quite a few people on crossovers but didn't run with anyone. On the way to #22 was still feeling good and realised there wasn't that long left so picked up the intensity. Only significant mistake after that was 24 where I was too far west and punched a control on another boulder before going back to it to check the number (not sure why I went back) and saw it was wrong!

Made an effort on the run in which sealed 3rd place from cherry...

Really enjoyed this race!
