NOY race 48:49 [3] 4.4 km (11:06 / km)

NOY2A at Brush Creek West.

Nice little course where we visited a few places we hadn't been to and also attacked things from different direction so added a bit of new spice to a heavily pre-used area.

Attackpoint splits suggest there were only two competitors on any of the "Difficult" or "Moderate" courses that didn't lose any time. PowA was one and I the other, so fairly clean "run". I must say that in reality I did lose up to 30 seconds on control 8 but I'm blaming Jenny for that.

Running once again the low point with too much walking but overall placed reasonably, considering my lack of pace, due to mainly error free nav.

Interesting to note that my best placing on any split was never better than my overall placing.

Newy Park Run 34:37 [3] 5.0 km (6:55 / km)

Not our worst Parkrun but not far off it. Raining so muddy gravel sections awful. Felt bad the whole way and walked huge sections.

Rain also meant we couldn't use LeepBax's new running pram as it doesn't have a rain cover.

Note

Didn't enter SL3.

We figured it was unfair to make LeepBax travel so far for a one day event even though I really enjoy the challenge that this map offers. Next up for us will be QB111 at Belanglo now that Broken Hill is not an option.

Note

Done nothink (I might as well admit defeat and join everybody else that says this and "anythink" or "somethink" etc but I wont go as far as to say "nufink") since Saturday except walk home from work and don't expect to until Sunday's event.
