I know that I'm able to orienteer well. Most times when I'm able to focus on my concept, the result is good. But sometimes, I just don't do what I know I should. Especially at relays I tend to forget about the concept with - not astonishing - bad results.

Next days, I want to think about the following:
1) concept
2) where am I strong/week
3) what is a good run and what are limiting factors
4) what makes me forget about the concept
5) what happened at Jukola
6) what to learn from it

Jukola. Our team got ~ 248/1500 very good!
1) Michi: solid, but with 750 people starting ahead of him, he had a strenuous job to pass slower runners during the whole course.
2) Pädi: I think, his time was good, even if he was not very happy with his run.
3) Küre: good race
4) Pesche: very good race!
5) I could start at position ~ 200. thought, that I would loose 200 places even with a very good race. Did a very poor job, but "only" lost 50 places.
6) Willy: good
7) Thömu: started very good, but had no energy left after 90' of his 120' race. Still came in with a good time.
It was a lot of fun and we were happy with our result. Now we have to go next year again to keep the good starting position.

shoes: Asics schwarz

Jogging to the boulders and back.

climbing (Bouldering) 30:00 [1]

Tried different things and found a nice traverse where we knew that we would get wet if we could not do it. It happened, and the water was quite cold ;-)

Training in the Jukola-area. Green, logs covering the ground and bad runability. Made "only" 5 small mistakes, perhaps half a minute each.

Made a training in the part of the map, we had not visited during the weekend. Made no big mistakes, but needed a lot of time in the control area to be sure that I hit the control (nothing out there anymore).
Furthermore, I felt like zig-zagging from control to control quite insecure.
