Navigation was flowing rather well today and quite impressed with the pace i ran, however just a tad faster in the middle would have been great :)

Running 1:15:00 [3]

Late for training...what can I say, so shortened warmup mostly just cut down the drills to one repetition. Hard set today:
2 sets of : 4x200m on 60 second recovery
times:
set 1: 37.54, 37.11, 37.90, 39.25
8 min rest
set2: 38.04, 40.95, 38.59, 38.33
8 min rest

4x100m grass run (no pace just focusing on technique with walkback inbetween as the recovery)
warmdown and stretches as usual

Orienteering (SSS Riverview) 46:38 [3]

450pts
Was able to make a real nice loop with the layout of the controls which flowed rather well. Legs a little stiff at the beginning but felt right after the first 5 min of running. SI event which was interesting because you actually had to go right to the control to punch rather than just sighting the code...took a while to get used to

Warm down walk/jog on the grass and some intense stretching...i guess this session wasn't as hard physically as normal mostly because it was the first session after the christmas break
