Orienteering race (State League 7) 40:00 [4] 3.6 km (11:07 / km)

A long hilly run (Especially to the start) the run was through gullies and 15m cliffs. The terrain looked great, gold mining shafts. Saw a guy serching for gold with his metal detector when we were out collecting controls. Also on the red 3/4 course loved controls 11 and 12. 11 was in a mine shaft entry with many tunnels leading off. Including to number 12. The small but passable tunnel lead right onto number 12!
Great run, quite steep!!

Orienteering race (State League 6) 28:00 [4] 2.7 mi (10:22 / mi)

Had no trouble at all. Just the occasional "off" bearing. Great run. Quite open terrain with the glimpses of rocky terrain. It was at Kahli's Rock in Bathurst.

X-Country race 18:00 [5] 4.0 km (4:30 / km)

Today was IGSSA Cross-country. This is equivalent to zone. It was held at Frencham, Mittagong. I ran 4km and came 43rd out of 150. It was a tough and very very long race for me. Part of the way I threw up!!!! Very hard core. Best part of the day was PLC Sydney has their own personal masseur which i tested with my strained neck. We are going out to a team dinner tonight.

X-Country 40:00 [4] 6.0 km (6:40 / km)

Ran around Sydney Olympic Park with my dad. Ran up hills, through the fountains, around the mangrove boardwalk. Quite interesting!
