Orienteering (Map Memory) 49:00 [3] 5.0 km (9:48 / km)
Paried with Karl for this exercise, took it in turns to navigate to controls without the map whilst the other memorised the next leg. Was fine with getting to the control circle but on some was not too sure about the actual control feature.

Orienteering (Local Event) 34:49 [3] 3.7 km (9:25 / km)
turned out to be a sprint event with very flat pine forest. Was slow and thought no12 was no2....just tired and lack of concentration

Orienteering20:00 [3]
Each went out and put a control out then came back and drew it on a master map. From that made courses for each other. Completed 2 courses each containing butterfly loops.
Competed in some Tasmanian cross country race, was feeling great for the first 2km or so, no stiches or feelings of sickness however the last km or so, uphill, really pushed me.
Orienteering45:00 [3] 4.0 km (11:15 / km)
Two 1km long legs, liked the terrain of the second leg better however was in exactly the right spot for finding the control but just didn't see it. Oh well. didn't waste time though.
Had the oppourtunity to walk/jog around pitwater with some of the tasmanians in order to learn what features on the map looked like.

Orienteering20:00 [3] 1.3 km (15:23 / km)
Two short loops comprised of about 4/5 controls. A relay style event with controls close together and numerous people running around. On my second loop was out on no4 but turns out it was in the wrong position, too far to the left, which caused my bearing to no5 to be too far out, but was able to find it in the end.
