Legs feeling a lot better this morning. Managed to get some run throughs done before starting as well. Was super keen to get back in the forest after JWOC.

Was super happy to have such a clean run, particularly seeing as it was my first time running in the forest since returning from Europe. Pushed hard at the beginning which meant I was fairly exhausted once I got to the long grass. Lost a bit of time on 15 (maybe 30-45 seconds). Really keen to work on my fitness so that I can run complete races at the pace I started at today.

Felt pretty pathetic running this race. Didn't read the map in enough detail at the start so mucked around at number 2 for a fair while. After that mistake the rest was pretty average. Didn't manage to establish any flow and my running pace was average.

Up. Calves were ridiculously tight during this. Didn't manage a warm down.

Just a massive stretching session before an afternoon nap. Was planning on a 45 minute tempo run but was so incredibly sore from yesterday that I gave it a miss. Perhaps tomorrow I'll get out again.
