Orienteering race 1:04:17 [3] 6.8 km (9:27 / km)
shoes: New Balanced 857

At the beginning of the race I wasn't really prepared. Mostly because my mind wasn't ready for it. But I adjusted and sped up towards the end.

After the race I talked to Peter, he gave me a few pointers and got some helpful training tips that I will start doing.

Running race 17:50 [3] 3.1 mi (5:45 / mi)
shoes: Asics, Hyper - XC

Today was our state class meet for X-C. I finished 18th out of 149. I didn't do as well as I should have. I was planning on keeping up with Andrew Hill who is my speed, but somehow he got 51st when he was expect to get 4th or 5th. So that screwed me over. Also my team wasn't very supportive of me getting all state because they were saying that I would have to practice alone with coach with for a week and how terrible that would be.

So my X-C season for this year is over. I was told to take at least a week of from running how. So I will start that on monday since I an orienteering A-meet tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our state class meet so today we had a pre meet as normal. So we warmed up, double stretched, ran did strides and went to a pasta party.

Running 22:00 [3] 3.0 mi (7:20 / mi)
shoes: New Balanced 1010

Today we didn't have an official but the whole team went to the middle school regional championship race to check out our up coming runners. The kid that finished first is going to be coming to woodstock so that good.

But today for running we ran around the course to watch the middle schoolers run. Otherwise we didn't do to much. And I was guessing on how far and long we ran.

shoes: New Balanced 1010

Running intervals 18:52 [3] 2.5 mi (7:33 / mi)
shoes: New Balanced 1010

Running warm up/down 7:51 [3] 1.0 mi (7:51 / mi)
shoes: New Balanced 1010

Coach didn't want to do 3 long runs in a row, so we did fart licks on the track today. They were really easy it was just boring.

So first we did a one mile warm up, 25 jumping jacks, stretched, and 30 pushups. Then we ran another mile to warm up, and ran did two and a half miles of fart licks. We jogged the curves and did strides for the straight aways. When we finished we did 25 pushups and did a mile cooldown.

Running long 48:02 [3] 6.4 mi (7:30 / mi)
shoes: New Balanced 1010

My legs are kind of sore from yesterday but not as sore as they should be. So today we did what we always do after a hard day/meet, a long run. So we drove to the Thomson Dam and ran. We did a warmup, 25 jumping jacks, stretched, and did 30 pushups. Then we went for our run and did 10 strides.
