Cerys was woken at 5:50am and didn't settle back down so not the best start!
Wasn't great to have one of the first starts as it was clearly going to track up later and I got very stuck in crap a few times!
Lost about 3 mins in total, mainly on numbers 2 and 13.......didn't take accurate bearings and was distracted by having a nice run in the woods!!
Found the hills quite hard going and had to walk a bit.......felt rubbish to have to do that, but I've only done 5 wks training so maybe couldn't expect too much.
Still, happy to be 4th and only 2 mins down, so not a bad go.

Very gently run to stretch legs and get out. Busy day with Cerys.......really good physio session for her. Always good to hear that she's really advanced :) Must take after her Mum :) hehe!

Half in Ellenbrook fields and half on Uni campus...........sprint map :)
Messed up one as just couldn't find the tape on the ground and the other one I got dragged off by David as we had to run off the map to go to the crossing point and then we ran to the wrong group of thickets.
Should have got them all but doubted I'd make it so missed 2 out and then had 4 mins to spare........d'oh!
Felt quite good running though :)
