Bike ride with Willy to rest the hip a little. Fun apart from the messed up gears on the hills. Had a few races up some of the hills and I am definitely to heavy for cycling .

Loop in the sun with Willy and Ali. Went the reverse way around extended East Haddon loop. Nice day to be running and the field are all alot nicer now they have dried out completely. Apart from the field of rape that are taller than me and impossible to get through. Hip feeling a lot better and only a little tight for the last sections.

Work to athletics. Now held near the police HQ so a much shorter run. Hip was feeling extremely tight when I woke up this morning but loosened a little during the day and on this run.

Fairly easy session but only did two of the 3 sets as hip was feeling odd while running a seizing up in between intervals.

Jog around the Rugby pitches as a warm up before the Rugby 6miles.

Rugby 6miles. First road race for a long time and I went off far too quick and paid the price. Finished in 11 and quite happy with the time though but I was really struggling from around half way then felt a little better just before the final hill which seemed to go on for ever (only about 1k). Had to work very hard to keep a decent pass along the final mile which was pretty much completely flat.
