orienteering race 1:47:00 [4] 9.5 km (11:16 / km) +180m 10:17 / km

COC long distance on 1:15000 Hog's back map in Manitoba. It felt long and I had to relocate a few times on the way to 4 . Otherwise ok race, just too long and felt slow on the last loop. Kept seeing Charlotte during the race. Went to visit number 1 (again) instead of 10, but found out pretty fast and ran to 10. Tough course. 4th position.

orienteering race 45:04 [4] 4.5 km (10:01 / km) +150m 8:35 / km

COC middle distance. OK race with one bigger mistake (route choice, hesitation) on number 6. Slowed down at the End as usually. 3rd position.

Friday Aug 28, 2009 #

orienteering race 18:33 [4] 2.1 km (8:50 / km) +80m 7:25 / km

COC Sprint at Hog's Back in Manitoba. Tried to run hard, but had to slow down and made a mistake at the End. Caught up to Pam but lost her when making my mistake. Ended up 4th......got dizzy from the heat.

3rd long leg at the relay for the GVOC 2 team with Marg and Alex. 5th position in 6-9 points group.

orienteering race 30:00 [4] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

Relay with the juniors. Some very fast running at the first leg. Fun!
I did not run the prairie goat in the afternoon, too hot!

Shadowing the junior girls at Sass Peepre training camp. They are good! Course, relocation and memory exercises. Fun!
