orienteering 23:06 [4] 2.2 km (10:30 / km) +125m 8:11 / km

GLOF Sprint. Very pretty woods with steep ravines and leafs on the ground, great visibility. I did not see some of the route choices and went mostly close to the straight line which was not always the fastest way. Climbed too many ravines! Lost 1 and half minute on my slow route choice to 11. Ended up in third position, just 3 seconds faster than Galyna. Many of us shared the 23... minute mark. Alison C. won. Great map and race. Felt pretty tired in these ravine due to lack of sleep last night.
2.2*1.5=3.3

orienteering 42:14 [4] 3.8 km (11:07 / km) +180m 8:59 / km

GLOF Middle. Great day, great map, sunshine and pretty woods... Just a bit uphill. I made one smaller mistake at 3 and took too long on the longer leg to 7. Fell down exactly between too sharp rocks on mossy ground and somehow avoided braking my arm and compass in five pieces. The running felt pretty good and all made sense. I like this feeling! Hopefully it will be present tomorrow. Ended up forth after Alison, Katha and Galyna.
3.8*1.5=5.7

trail running 1:07:00 [2] 9.0 km (7:27 / km) +300m 6:23 / km

Run in Lynn Valley with Magnus and Luna the dog. Took some small trails around Luna's house towards the Twin falls, up to the BP, small biking trail, exploring the terrain and indistinct or non-existing trails towards the Lillooet Road, up the hill and down some small biking trail towards Seymour connector and Homestead Trail. Back over Twin Falls and stairs.
Only 1 of 9 k was flat. Found a few O-features for Lynn Valley race.

orienteering 39:07 [4] 5.6 km (6:59 / km)

WET at Ambleside Park set by Rachel. I think I was the only one who tried to run hard today. Everyone else had some injury, was sick, jogged or did not have headlamp and it got dark during the course. I made it just before it got darker. It was also pretty fast to run on a part of the map I just made. Fun!
Nice evening with sun. Next time I will bring my headlamp.

orienteering race 1:08:00 [3] 5.5 km (12:22 / km) +100m 11:20 / km

Kamloops local race at Red Plateau set by Brian M. Decided to do course (5.5) on the south side of the map which is more open and runnable. Made a few mistakes but really liked the course. Nice day!
5.5*1.5=8.2

orienteering 30:00 [2] 3.0 km (10:00 / km) +60m 9:05 / km

Part of the course on the north side of the map, control 4-9, together with Marie-Cat, switching who starts first with waiting on every second control. Messed up number 8. Some dead fall in the forest, the vegetation on the map is slightly wrong.
